Japanese supermarkets could be a field trip on its own.
1st (fruity flavours like Yuzu) and 2nd (Basilic based, soya sauce based) shelves of salad dressings.
The 3rd and 4th shelves are mainly sesame flavoured. There are cheesy, saltish, garlic-ky, shiso-based, Pollock roe-based and roasted sesame seeds based flavours.
