These are some of the bento sets that I have made thus far. I usually make them the night before for lunch the following day.
I started bringing my own lunch box when I work in Paris because the lunch menus here are either not to my liking or considerably expensive for the portion and quality they serve.
In short, I know what I like best, and I think you can control the all the quantity and quality of the ingredients when you are preparing your own meals. Also, I am willing to spend 10-15 minutes to prepare my own lunchbox. =)
