X'mas in Paris

S and I were spontaneous enough to brave the strike by walking today.
We are ever so "garang".
We decided on Saint-Lazare and Havre Caumartin cos it's within walking distance from home.
We went to our friend's restaurant for lunch near l'opera (which generous her insisted us not to pay) and heeded off to the shopping district.

Their 新洲米粉 is really nice and authentic!!
I'm going to bring W along cos he loves this dish.

The weather was cold but beautiful.
We are having 1-2 degs in the day and -3 degs tonight.

This is the only 泡泡茶 tea house in Paris (or France).
Look at the cost of a regular cup of 泡泡茶 and a big cup of it.

A whopping 4.50 Euros and 5.50 Euros.
Which is SGD9.00 and SGD11.00 for a cup of 泡泡茶.
Can you calculate what's their profit margin for a cup sold?
And can you imagine there are still people buying them?
Well, those who were sitting in the shop were all angmohs though.

Night fell at 1730hrs approx.
The beautiful lights filled the street.
Somehow, X'mas seems more christmas-y when you are experiencing cold weather like this.

The 2nd largest H&M outlet in Paris.
There are other 3 more outlets on the same street, but on a smaller scale.
This one comprises of 2 stories.

The biggest is at Les Halles, which comprises of 3 stories.
Which is also where the Roberto Cavalli's collection for H&M was launched on the 8th November 2007.
