Jurong Bird Park, Singapore

We got the 3-in-1 Park Hopper specials that entitle us to visit Singapore Zoo, Night Safari and Jurong Bird Park at just SGD58.00 per adult. Of course, you need not visit all 3 parks all in the same day, tickets are valid for 30 days from the date of purchase.

Jurong Bird Park was a good trip too, but I still prefer the zoo because I got a little bit sick of just looking at birds the whole afternoon.

Like its subsidiary, Jurong Bird Park has large open concept displays; four large walk-in aviaries for birds from South East Asia, Africa, South America and Australia. Also, committed towards conservation, the Bird Park is the first in the world to breed the Twelve-wired Bird of Paradise in captivity.

In Asia, Jurong Bird Park is the only park in the Asia Pacific to have an Avian Hospital. It has a Breeding and Research Centre tasked to ensure the welfare, breeding and promulgation of birdlife and is also an Official Rescue Avian Centre.
